Events & Analytics
LoginID provides both historical and real-time insights into user interactions through its event and analytics infrastructure.
Embedded Passkey Analytics
Embedded Passkey Analytics are lightweight, built-in analytics tools available directly within the LoginID dashboard. These tools offer real-time and historical visualizations of common event patterns for basic monitoring and understanding of system usage.
Embedded Analytics is available to all users at no additional cost.
Passkey Adoption Report
The Passkey Adoption Report provides visibility into how users are authenticating with passkeys in your application. It highlights adoption trends, fallback behaviors, and drop-off points to help you monitor and improve the onboarding experience.
For details on navigation, chart interpretation, and use cases, see the full Passkey Adoption Report section.
Raw Logs
The Raw Logs view provides a detailed, real-time record of all authentication and event activity within your LoginID application. It allows you to search, filter, and inspect individual event entries for in-depth troubleshooting or auditing.
For more information, see the full Raw Logs section.
Event Data Retention
By default, LoginID retains one year of event data. This retention policy is subject to change. For longer storage or compliance needs, please contact support.
Pull-Based Event Data Access Methods
Use pull-based access when you want to query event data on demand or integrate with existing monitoring pipelines.
LoginID supports pull-based access to event data through:
- REST API — Allows querying of raw and aggregated historical event data.
- Prometheus-compatible scraping — Support for metrics exposition compatible with Prometheus scraping.
Push-Based Event Delivery with Connectors
Use push-based delivery when you need real-time event streaming to external systems for immediate processing or SIEM integration.
Events can be streamed in real time to external systems using our Connectors infrastructure. For a complete list of supported event types and their schema definitions, see the Event Registry.
Available Connectors
- Splunk Connector — Stream LoginID event data directly into Splunk via its HTTP Event Collector (HEC) interface for real-time analytics, dashboards, and alerts.
Additional integrations may be added based on user demand. If you require support for another system, contact support to request a new connector.
