The most flexible solution available on the market: Our FIDO protocol-based solution is supported on major operating systems and browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari. It also runs on both Windows 10 and Android platforms, and, from September 2020, Apple OS.
Inherently a better user experience: The majority of authentication solutions in the market currently require users to manually enter dynamic passcodes into the platform interface, while LoginID does not - the user experience is as simple as scanning a face or fingerprint, irrespective of the device used.
A global standard of web authentication: LoginID incorporates the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)/FIDO Alliance official web standard for web authentication (WebAuthn). WebAuthn makes passwords and phishing a thing of the past by authenticating through ‘something a user is’. It is crucial that websites and services implement WebAuthn to create a secure environment without compromising usability, and our solution achieves that for our customers.
Single Security Policy Across All Platforms: As a certified FIDO2/UAF platform, LoginID applies a rule-based approach to allow our clients to configure for various use cases using a single security policy. The FIDO protocol consists of a series of interoperable technical standards that facilitate the creation of secure and user-friendly authentication using biometrics, second-factor, and multi-factor methods. Additionally, LoginID leverages a FIDO protocol that is consistent and standardized and therefore does not require the use of different server solutions.
Transaction confirmation and non-repudiation: LoginID delivers a digital signature scheme that enables true non-repudiation of identity credentials that are hardware-based and protected against both phishing and man-in-the-middle attacks. Furthermore, by providing strong cryptography, LoginID is able to extend its non-repudiation to all transaction types offered to end-users.
PSD2 Compliant LoginID authentication is inherently a 2-factor authentication method and is therefore explicitly PSD2 compliant, setting it apart from proprietary biometrics solutions (such as Apple TouchID or FaceID) as a compliant solution for a wide range of business applications.
Strong fit for EU’s general data protection regulation (GDPR): Our FIDO-based solution makes it easier to comply with the GDPR through features that eliminate the need for server-side shared secrets, use public key cryptography, and make sure that biometrics never leave the device. In particular, FIDO standards have been developed with ‘privacy by design’ in mind - a key requirement in the law.
